Extremely poor experience with website and customer service - I do not recommend doing business with

I don’t know how some of the reviewers got lucky and had a good experience with this horrible company! I tried to order an item my granddaughter wanted on line - their on line site would not take my credit card - nor would it take a second credit card I tried to use. There was no reason either card should not have been accepted. So I called customer service -waited a horribly long time on hold. The person I spoke to said that I had to contact my credit card company. I did. The credit card rep said they had no indication that the payment information was ever submitted to them, so the problem was with the merchant’s website. Called Urban Outfitters back and was told “yeah, they are having trouble with the website - maybe try again later“. I waited 2 days and had the same problem. Sent an email and NEVER got a response. A couple of days later, I tried again but still had this problem so I called to place the order by phone. After waiting on hold for over 15 minutes, I hung up, found a suitable substitute on Amazon and ordered that instead. I then sent an email to the company explaining my experience. I have never heard back from them. This is not a company I will ever do business with and will not be recommending them to anyone!
