They cannot deliver a package if their lives depended on it

A couple packages were sent to my home. As usual, I expected that after few attempts, the driver will just leave the packages at a closest UPS location. I have gone to two UPS stores to make sure that is the procedure and all employees confirmed. On Saturday, I received a message that a scheduled time for delivery was 2 pm to 6 pm. I have stepped out in the morning and the driver tried to deliver it at 12:26 pm. So, obviously I missed him again. I have desperately called everyone, asking them to drop my packages where I can pick them at because I just cannot quit my job to wait at home all day long. After fourth attempt, the customer service (all overseas, it is impossible to speak to anyone in the USA) told me that the packages will be returned back to sender. So I finally managed to log in to their website and paid for both packages to be directed to the UPS store. Notice that you have to pay them to drop off the packages at the location, CEO simply needs her billions, doesn't she?? The next day, I got a message that one package was sent to the UPS store and the other was simply returned to the sender. The stuff I ordered is not available anymore. UPS is simply just an ATM that is used to extract billions and billions for shareholders and upper executives and nothing else. Obviously these billionaires are getting impatient because the company is now laying off 20,000 drivers nationwide. The company has many many class action lawsuits (wage theft, racial, religious and disability discrimination, cheating on their financial statement and hiding profit from authorities and many more). What can we actually expect from company like that? That they will give a damn about the service and work they should be doing? Let's not be ridiculous. Absolute waste of time and resources. I hope they go out of business soon. I happen to know from a friend that his horrible company lies about how much drivers get paid and paints a picture that is completely false. What a nonsense.
