Uber Eats has shitty customer service

I’d give Uber Eats a big fat zero if I could still leave a review. I was a new customer and was checking out the menu at Dairy Queen. I’d been having website issues. Somehow an order was placed without my knowledge. Once I figured that out I cancelled immediately. Then Uber said I’d still be charged the full amount of $18.24. I offered an explanation about how the order went through, to no avail. So I didn’t receive any food, yet they charged my credit card the full amount. Huge ripoff! I’d never pay that much for one Blizzard! I have never experienced such a sham. I went round and round with them on email asking for a refund. They will not budge! I was a potential new customer but they could have cared less! This is twice now that I was met with their shitty customer service. In May 2025 I ordered from them in Wisconsin. Our pizza arrived looking like the driver had drop kicked it. The topping was completely off the pizza. It was squished and stuck underneath the pizza on the cardboard box. It couldn’t be resurrected so we had to quickly come up with an alternative dinner plan for our guests. I’d definitely steer clear of using Uber Eats to deliver a food order. All I asked for was a refund. Since they refused to do that I found the necessity to write a truthful review warning others. DO NOT GIVE UBER EATS YOUR BUSINESS‼️
