This is a great news site with vibe that feels more like newsites from the 1980's than the sensational bent of millenial rags. The site is well organized and very professional. As for the content, it is sincere and well-delivered. I love the fact they are "independent" and have real concern journalism pushing back against censorship and speaking truth to power - it's in their DNA, their origin story.I don't know about subscription cancellations as I haven't intended to unsubscribe and let it renew annually (actually, I added one for my mother as well and let that renew annually, too).From other reviews, I am on notice that cancellation will be a lot like cancelling a gym membership (that doesn't make gyms untrustworthy, just difficult to break up with when you stop feeling the need to be healthy).
