Same experience as the others on here. Original sub circa £25 a year. Over the weekend was hit with a £269 charge on my CC, something I can ill afford at the moment and to cancel you have to call a number which isn't available at weekends – it's very stressful.If you end up in the same situation don't panic though, I called at 8:01am was number 0 in the queue but it still took 10 mins to answer. Have your subscriber number ready and be prepared for a load of flannel and matey conversation about your weekend (it would have been better without worrying about this etc).To be fair to the operator she did eventually just cancel it all and confirmation emails came through quickly.Also don't put it off, you have a two week window to sort things (unless the new digital act has extended that?).Also, if your account says you have no stored payment method (as I had) that doesn't mean they don't store your payment method they still seem to be able to access it from somewhere else - so still ring them.I think they're operating contrary to consumer law etc as I thought online transactions had to have a simple one click cancellation option?Perhaps their own consumer champion who regularly calls out other companies would like to investigate?
