There are 3 stores close to my house that were all recently “upgraded”. The only way to check out in any of them is to use self-checkout. I am not paid or receive anything to weigh and check out my own already overpriced items and groceries! At my last encounter I walked up to customer service counter where 3 young women were chatting and requested that they send a cashier to one of the many empty counters. They refused. I then asked them to check me out. They only were willing to check out 5 items. I left the rest in the cart and vowed never to return to any of the Target stores again. I have 3 girls who used to go to Target for their makeup, while they shop I typically bought groceries, clothes, etc. and would spend about $1,500 a month at Target. No more!
