I requested a refund for a game that didn’t work properly on PS5. Sony refused and asked me to try some basic troubleshooting fixes, which I did. That didn’t work. So I decided to go through my bank and ask for a chargeback.Well, this was the biggest mistake, because my account was suspended the next day. I submitted the required forms to have it reinstated but never heard back from anyone. A week passed and all of a sudden my account is back. I’m good to go.Then, I received another email stating that my account was suspended again because of the chargeback (despite them reinstating it before?). I spent 10 hours trying to get in touch with someone via chat support, only to get disconnected. The chat box itself is so small that the messages eventually get cut off and I couldn’t read what the support agent was saying.I was told that my only solution would be to purchase a virtual gift card for the amount owed, to which I agreed. The agent said they would send me an email with instructions on how to purchase the gift card. I never got the email. Two more service agents tried but still no email. I cannot purchase the gift card on my own because account access is blocked once you’re suspended.
