PlayStation's enforcement of it's terms of service in chats is not fit for purpose. They do not act unless specific trigger phrases are said and more often then not they act against victims retaliating rather than persecutors. It genuinely feels unsafe to be a woman and have DMs active on playstation network because they do nothing about the vile things that get sent to you but if you tell the persecutor to get a life or to f off then you'll be slapped with a week suspension. In future explicit messages will be reported to the police instead and PSN can deal with it on there end. I'm tired of being sent people's shrivelled chopped up sausages and unhinged monologues.
