I was charged for a renewal the I was assured would not automatically renew. When writing my complaint to them, i had to check a box "confirming I’ve cancelled this website subscription and acknowledge that my request won’t be reviewed if the website subscription is still active” But I followed the "Learn how to cancel” link months ago and the steps weren’t coherent with the available options on the website! So how am I supposed to follow a guide that doesn’t ring true on the actual website? I am infuriated.I was thinking about designing another website with Squarespace, but now I am going to move to Wordpress as I feel cheated. I still haven’t got a refund or am I able to cancel subscription. I have never used the domain. What a waste of time and money.
