Poor Customer Service

I have been a premium member for years, and I love music without ads. So I was very excited to be able when Duo was introduced, so my husband could have music ad free as well. I even got an email from Spotify asking if I wanted to change plans. The issue is that when I go into my account, I am told that I cannot change to Duo. This is where the problem really begins, it is not that I cannot change, it is that Spotify (the company who should know what kind of account I have, sent the email asking me if I wanted to change) sent me an email request asking me to change and then told me you don't qualify for Duo. Then why did you tell me about it? I would have never known about it otherwise. I am not on social media so it is extremely difficult to actually speak/chat with a real person (not a robot, that has a poorly calculated algorithm for deducing issues). This is such poor customer service.
