I’m a long-time Spotify user in the UK, and I’m writing to express my concern about your current pricing structure. The monthly Premium cost in the UK (£10.99) is significantly higher than in many other countries — including the US, Sweden, and Hungary — even though those countries often have higher average incomes and VAT rates. For example: • In Sweden, Premium is around £9.00/month • In Hungary, it’s around £4.40/month • Even in the US, after tax, it’s still cheaper than the UKThis pricing disparity feels increasingly unfair, especially since the service provided is identical worldwide. It creates the impression that UK customers are being overcharged simply because we’re seen as a “Tier 1” market.I urge you to review your regional pricing and consider making it more equitable. Otherwise, I — and many others — will seriously reconsider continuing our subscriptions when other services offer better value.
