I am very suspicious of Shopify order processing software: they grab and keep your credit card info. Once they submitted the order when I was trying to key in a coupon code. It basically hijacked the process before I could press Submit.Recently I was shopping using my phone; I left an order unfinished, changed my mind after putting the credit card info, went back to the shopping cart screen and closed the window. The credit card info should have been erased and the shopping process should have been stopped. Later that night started the process from scratch and submitted my order.Surprise surprise: 2 orders were placed that day ( hour interval) one when I closed the shopping window because I changed my mind and then the other one when I actually pressed Submit. The application grabs and keeps your payment info. They still try to push an old credit card (already cancelled) when I try to shop and avoid using them. I had to call to cancel the account the system created. I don't want to affect the seller of the product I just ordered but I will report Shopify to American Express. This business organization is scum.
