When considering moving your entire livelihood over to a platform that has no customer service and no way to reach them maybe think about that before you invest in all of these silly bells and whistles they have when you can’t even get to your shop if something has happened and you suspect fraud and change your password, not realizing that it’s going to Make all of your pass keys disappear and reset your entire system. I’ve been locked out of my shop for over 48 hours after dropping a new collection because it was bugging out so hard I couldn’t even reach my admin page for 24 hours straight. My admin page would not load. I called my phone carrier I called Apple, I called anyone involved with trying to figure out whether I have cookies that were not enabled or pop-up blockers whatever none of that was solved through Shopify and I was on their chat for hours and hours and hours multiple times multiple times multiple times. Then I noticed in my change logs that there was someone else logged in from Iowa and I am in Kentucky so I went to change my password to try to make sure that I didn’t have any fraudulent stuff going on contributing to the weird buggies that was going on with my website and lo and behold I get kicked out of my very own account and didn’t have my recovery codes because I had generated new ones and not copied them like an idiot not thinking about it because I had about five different pass keys that I could use including Google Face ID etc. etc. they all were completely nullified off of my account when I change the password and so I couldn’t log back in thinking this wouldn’t be a huge problem. I reach out to Shopify support but lo and behold you cannot sign in to Shopify support unless you have your password so there is literally no one to call somehow magically I got through because I accidentally made another store that just so happened to be active with nothing in it and through that shop I reached support it is now days later I still have not heard anything from anyone except they continue to send me emails that they know I can’t open because I don’t have a password so it’s all linked to their chat support that is nonexistent that I can’t even open to read because I don’t have my password verification. They did happen to send me a stripe verification so that it would allow me to put in my ID and take pictures of my face to verify my identity that’s done it’s verified and still our hours hours later no word this is my livelihood. This is my business. I need access to my page. I have all the business documents. I have every single thing that proves that I am the owner of this website I have my own domain, etc., etc. what is going on? Do not get Shopify
