Terrible service. Terrible quality. Avoid.

I purchased a Seagate product from Curry's as a place to store videos and photos for a project - thinking Seagate was a decent brand. Less than a year of owning the device, it stopped responding entirely. I went to a few local tech shops for some advice, with all saying the data is likely to be recoverable, but it will require a clean room/lab.I checked and my device was under warranty so, after getting in touch with Seagate, I sent it Seagate's lab in the Netherlands. Then after 5 weeks, I was told that all my photos and videos were not recoverable. I was informed I would be contacted to explain why and sent a new device - neither of which happened.I've since been in touch twice after months of no contact asking for further justification as to why the product was faulty, why my data wasn't recoverable and why I haven't received a replacement. I still have had no response.Terrible service. Terrible quality. Avoid.
