This concerns an urgent delivery order I placed for UK240725-40378373. The order is for a Samsung Fold 6 and a case for it. I want to warn people not to order from Samsung's website in the UK. They appear to have an arrangement with DBD that makes it look like a phone has been sent, but in reality, they are selling phones they do not have in stock. So I received messages on the 26-7-2024. All was ok, and I should get the phone by 9 am as ordered. I paid extra for this early delivery. At 12 am, no one arrived, and then the lying started. I was promised several times that day that the phone would come but it did not. Monday 29/7-2024, the false promises continued. However, later in the day, the tone changed. Now, they could not tell when I would get my phone. I would have to wait several weeks to get my money back. Samsung is clearly in bed with DPD. I was told that I could not get a refund until DPD sent the phone back to Samsung. Why should I be liable for what goes on between the two?. Samsung is, in effect, using innocent, hard-working people's money as interest-free loans. As I understand, Samsung could be in trouble. This is why they cannot even refund me the high amount I paid for this order. I own for £ 50k+ of Samsung stuff, so I feel very betrayed that even big customers are treated like fools. I asked to speak to a senior person "Ohh, of course, you can let me get him to give you a call back). Nobody contacted me yesterday or today. Samsung UK is sending out all the signals of a company about to go bust. Taking thousands of a person's debit cards knowing they could not supply is borderline fraud. As I write, I am still not any wiser. I have copied the correspondence with Samsung, including all the false promises and lies. I would strongly advise against buying from their website. I have also searched on Samsungs financial situation, which is not good, so I guess my money is being used to fill holes in cash flow. I am not that rich I can give interest-free loans to Samsung, let alone never get my money back. It is not usual UK business mentality to treat people like this; I wonder if it's because most directors are from outside the UK, where respect for people's hard-earned cash may be different. Just swipe their customers card, and we worry about later! It's not ok at all; I recommend staying away from them. Ethically, it is not up to UK standards. This is genuine and I have information to back this op Update 30/7/2024 19:15 so I called Samsung again got through to an initially very friendly person who said she could arrange a new phone and would put the case through to the famous "team". I then thought problem would be solved but no it started again. The former friendly lady suddenly became rude and said I could not get my money or another phone until DPD had returned the first phone. I have nothing to do with DPD Samsung ordered them. This means that if DPD has lost, stolen or destroyed the first phone I will loose over £ 2.3K! as Samsung refuse to cover a phone their own currier have lost, solen or destroyed. This cannot be right a company like Samsung behaves this way. The former friendly Lady just hang up! I will now write to Samsung UK headoffice but I think it is Samsung who have decided to take and keep people's money. I stress in my view do not pay Samsung in advance as they just find an excuse not to solve the issue. I am done with Samsung. Update "qoute:31/07/2024. Jul 2711:10 amOut for delivery As requested, your parcel will now be delivered on Mon 29 July 2024. As you can see, Samsung does nothing to help me; they have stopped dealing with this, although they could send me another phone if they lost the first. Samsung says that they can only issue a refund or send another phone when the first comes back to them. It can take weeks. So now I am still sitting with no phone, which I duly paid for with express delivery, and Samsung does not care. They keep saying "Ohh I have asked the team" to look into this then they will come back to you". They never doUpdate. 31/7/2024 I received a long lecture from Samsung informing me they make a lot of money, so they do not need to sit on my phone or my money. Still no help. I am caught up in whether DPD will return the parcel to Samsung. Why I am liable for this is beyond me.
