Beware wheelchair users and people with baby buggies! We would have given top marks as it is a wonderful museum, however, having seen the Hals exhibition and the Night Watch, we left for some lunch and were not allowed back in afterwards. Why not? Once you have paid, you can stay as long as you like according to the small print. It does not actually say in the Ts&Cs that there is no re-entry. Also, all elevators except for one had been closed off. We had a wheelchair, and there were many wheelchair users and baby prams. We waited for long periods to move between floors which significantly limited our time looking at the exhibits. Clear signs, especially on the ground floor are needed to guide wheelchair users around the long diversions they need to take, especially when various lifts are shut off. The staff were stressed and unhelpful. We also waited for 8 minutes to leave the building - this is unacceptable and unsafe.Altogether, the experience was an eye opener, unpleasant and discriminatory.
