Deeply flawed, staff just don't care..

Reddit can be a good place to contribute to discussions, and can be good to find answers to questions through Google search. However, I'd say their website and its staff are deeply flawed. I've reported sub-reddits that are trolling or are promoting hate and it seems if it doesn't contain an actual offensive word (even if all the posts are hateful) the Reddit support team will deny your request (I swear they're a bunch of old yt guys who just deny anything to do with equality and inclusivity to get a power kick). On another note, moderators are extremely slow at taking down hateful or inappropriate content (they're not getting paid so why would they), and half the time they don't even get to the request or it just gets ignored. They also have a lot of power, which I'm not too much of a fan of. They hardly ever respond to messages either. Additionally, I find reddits general sub Reddit creation system deeply flawed, as a lot of hateful groups can go up and no one would notice or care until there was a public reaction. There is also a lack of moderation in subreddits too, allowing more hate to filter through the cracks. I have to say, Reddit lacks much care, and I honestly think they let trolls, bullies, racists, sexists, ableists, homophobics etc. remain on the site as they probably care more about having more users and getting paid more than anything else (kinda like Facebook).edit: would like to add, the hive mind is REAL. I asked someone to clarify something they said, came back the next day to -31 votes. A lot of the morons on this site basically are thoughtless and follow the crowd because they enjoy downvoting. Having a different opinion also gets you tons of downvotes (and I say this as someone who is incredibly careful with how I word things to be as inclusive and positive as possible). And there are subreddits dedicated to demeaning and objectifying women and certain races through p*rnography, which is vile. There are also subreddits dedicated to posting ''s*xy'' pics of underage teenage cheerleaders. It's basically an internet cesspool of incels, p*dos, racists, sexists and more neckbeards (apart from a select few subreddits which try to be inclusive and welcoming, such as r/feminism, etc.).I think the whole karma system needs to be thrown out. I appreciate likes are good, but karma itself on people's profiles - it's a dopamine driving thing that makes people just want to write the ''trendy'' or ''edgy'' things to get tons of upvotes.
