Terrible customer support and…

Terrible customer support and resolution team. No help, no understanding. They just respond with terms and conditions rather than treating cases individually. My other half accidentally bought a game I had already downloaded on our PS5(I accidentally left it in her basket before purchasing it from my own account). Because the games automatically download, it happened instantly with this game because it was already on the console. So even though she instantly realised the mistake it was too late to cancel the download and now we have the same game twice. Playstation won't refund because they say she's downloaded the game(she's not played it) even though the download happened automatically not giving her a chance to rectify the error. We understand it was an error not to check the basket fully before purchase but the aftercare is astonishingly bad. It leaves us both with an incredibly sour taste and a severely damaged opinion of the playstation and Sony brand. What a shame Wish we had the time to take this further, we'll keep trying to get a refund.
