I am writing you in regards to my displeasure with Sony and my PS4 plus subscription. The customer support is horrible. It is very hard to speak with someone and once you do (after hours of being on hold or having to call back) they are no help whatsoever. I called in December as my 16 year old son has a plus subscription which the family uses. Unfortunately we could not download mature games as the plus account was purchased under my son’s account and he is only 16. His plus subscription was about to expire and before I renewed it I wanted to see if there was a way to download mature content. I was told on the phone that this was not possible because he was only 16 yrs old. I was told that if I purchased a plus subscription under my account and let his expire I could download mature games and I would still have access to the games on his plus subscription . I purchased a new plus subscription under my account but when my son’s subscription expired we could no longer play any of the games that were originally downloaded under his old subscription account. The games did not transfer over. I called customer support and spoke to David who was not interested in helping me at all. He said there was nothing he could do and would not even provide me with his last name or an email to make so that I could make a formal complaint. I don’t understand why this has caused such a problem for me. The subscription to PS Plus has always been active within my family just under different users. I was given wrong advice, I have lost numerous games and I have no recourse. I am extremely upset that we do not have access to any of the games that were originally downloaded under my sons account. Seems so strange that such a prominent company has no email or complaint system in place.
