Parallels seamlessly allows me to run Microsoft Windows only applications like Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio on a Macbook Pro. In addition, the scanning functionality of a Canon multifunction printer works better via the Microsoft Windows driver under Parallels than the native MacOS driver.
