I don't pay for the service so I guess its not surprising that the quality is poor.Recently I have a problem: when I open an email the text is so tiny I can hardly see it, so I have to forward to my gmail account to read it.I spend about 90 mins in chat and phone dialogue with Microsoft Support. They did not know how to resolve this. We left it that they would research and contact me with a remedy. No news yet. Another problem : when a website offers me a link to an email them, outlook seems to try and open it but never actually makes it, just keeps showing me an envelope opening, over and over again. Because the website thinks I can use the link they don't display their email address on the screen, so I can't contact them. On the whole, its perhaps more trouble than its worth
