When I was first researching an ERP solution for my business, Odoo seemed like exactly the software I needed.A year later, I wish I had never come across Odoo. I paid for an Enterprise subscription, and then was told the software can't do what I specifically wanted. So I hired a partner to build a customization for me. When I wanted to setup everything, my subscription had been cancelled. They told me I had to move to Odoo.sh - because customizations cannot be hosted on Odoo.com. This had never been mentioned in the several online meetings we had while discussing the building of the customization. No surprise, had to pay extra for Odoo.sh. ALOT extra.When I finally got everything setup again with a new subscription, I discovered that my country was not supported. There is no fiscal localization for my country. Meaning, no chart of accounts, no journals, no reports - basically the solution is incomplete and doesn't work. I've wasted so much money and have never actually used the software.I've now been quoted thousands more to configure a localization for my country. I'm cutting my loses and ending my subscription. I will find a new solution. I wish I had read these reviews when I first came across Odoo. I urge anyone considering their software to stay away from this company.Their support is also terrible. They don't seem to realize that some businesses run after hours and during weekends - their support runs from 9 - 5, Monday to Friday. They will happily let your business come to a standstill if you need help outside of those hours.
