Honoured Refund - Hence the two star, but won't be using again.Overall - I am not certain the 'New' Laptop I purchased was in fact new.I purchased an MSI GL65 Leopard at a great price - around £200 less than other UK sellers; and considering that was from the US, it is even better when considering the import duty etc. However, the laptop arrived damaged - the screen had 3 areas of discolouration, which usually represents a faulty panel. Hard to believe that it was 'New' upon arrival. As the actual body of the laptop was steel, it leaves marks when touched, and on arrival, it seemed to me someone had tried to clean off fingerprints etc as there was smearing. The process of purchasing was also a painful experience - with back and forth chasing over when the laptop would be shipped and why my order stayed in a verification stage for so long. I was told that it was because they needed to verify my address - and asked for me to provide the 'State' that I lived in. I am from the UK (No States), and purchased on the UK website, so this seems very poor considering they actively sell to the UK market.I spoke to 2 different customer care agents - the first was very unhelpful and told me I would need to pay for the return. Of course, I was extremely reluctant to do so - as the fault was not my own.The second agent was far better and arranged the return for me. They were a lot more understanding and apologetic of the experience and provided some reassurance. They did honour the refund, and it did arrive within the 5 day window they claim refunds will be provided by.A disappointing experience all in all; but had the laptop have been as advertised, this may have been a positive review. However; looking at other reviews, this sort of failure from NewEgg seems extremely common.Hopefully they sort this out; they definitely have potential, but need to be more transparent over their items for sale and policies.I also note that the 'Free £60.00' voucher has major issues if you are from the UK. Although of course I will not be using as I returned my purchase, initially I did browse what I could use it for. I found some speakers which were of interest and added them to my basket. The delivery was stated as £59-£61 on all items, rendering this voucher nothing more than a 'free delivery' on your next purchase discount. Unless you plan on spending over £200 (i.e. you get free delivery anyway), don't consider this voucher as something useful; you'll probably never use it.
