This truly is an angst-inducing over engineered terrible product. Produced by entitled back-patting morons devoid of common sense.It insists on only having one specific battery or beeps loudly and messages you through its equally awful apps instructing you to fit this exact battery or learn more...It waits until you are asleep then throws a tantrum like a teething eight month old. Refuses to stop its incessant peeping at the new batteries you just installed as they are not the ones Nest/google allegedly has a partnership bilateral agreement with! You must comply Nest says so or I will beep beep beep even when you take my batteries out beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beeep beep! My Yorkie now needs intense therapy this beeping terrified her and she is a nervous wreck. Each time it beeped she grew more terrified and fled she was inconsolable. This product is cruel to certain canines and causes total panic. My children also hate it. Not to mention its massively overpriced and i have no doubt if there was a fire it would sulk and not go off.
