A brand new device crashed out (would not connect and kept restarting) within the first month. I called google for a replacement. Well to get a replacement you either have to put a $250 hold on your bank account or send the device back first and then they’ll send you one once they receive yours. I picked the second option and received a refurbished device. Well of course that didn’t work either. So I took the other nest from downstairs and plugged it in upstairs since we sleep there. I called google again for another device. I picked the second option again. That was 3 weeks ago but it was delivered to google within 3 day. Every time I called support to check the status, they can’t find it and will give you a new RMA number/shipping label. Why would I need a new shipping label, I don’t have anything to send back because it’s already there. I spend many hrs explaining this to a new person every time I called and after a minimum of an hour on the phone every time it ends with “I”ll forward this up and I will send you an email”. Needless to say you’ll never hear from them again. So the bottom line is, the product is a waste of money/time and customer service is useless. Buying this was the worst mistake I’ve make in awhile.
