There are many reviews here objecting to the National Trust's response to the Black Lives Matter movement. This isn't one of them.The Trust has no duty to educate visitors about the history of the properties it maintains but it has always done so. The only reason any member would object to the recent report is that they object to supporting BLM with their subscriptions - no-one should object to that, by definition. The countryside and our heritage should not be a whites-only area, which to a large extent it is at the moment. The National Trust is for the nation and by effectively excluding minority communities we stir up trouble.
