I am a National Trust member for a third year and consider it an honour to support with my humble fee the tremendous work and noble mission to save Britain's natural and historic heritage. I simply cannot imagine this country without this iconic organisation! I loved every single place of theirs that I have visited! They are a haven of peace, culture, serenity, cleanliness and beauty! The staff are polite, friendly and knowledgeable!My last visit was to Hill Top, the home of Beatrix Potter in the Lake District. My conversation with the curators was a pleasure and left me much enriched!
