A few weeks ago I was updating the websites that use Microsoft authenticator and accidentally deleted the codes for my Instagram account. I reached out to their help desk and have not received any assistance for my issue. I shows that my account is synced in the cloud but I am not able to find out where that is located. Once I researched online through Microsoft website I was not aware it only applied to business accounts not personal ones! They need to provide a disclaimer when a user is going to use their app that recovery of passwords or codes are not accessible with personal accounts!
