Something is rotten at the heart of the Met Office. It has been taken over by the project fear brigade from the emergency services and marketing hype. MO proudly state their accuracy for temp and wind but these are much easier than forecasting precipitation by area at which they are dire. Thunder forecast for Sunday never arrived here, instead temp and humidity dropped and just a little light rain. Looks like no-one was working on Sunday to update what was actually happening on the ground.
