What a disgusting piece of software, I wanted a good laptop so I paid £1000, on purchasing I was advise very strongly to purchase Mcafee, so I did, my first mistake, my second mistake was to install it on my new laptop and instantly found that it blocked my internet access, I switched off the VPN but no luck luckily I kept my old laptop so tried to use it to get information, only to find that I couldn't connect to my printer due to Mcafee. I then spent two days attempting to work out what was happening, tried the chatbot which was my third mistake, another waste of time so I tried chatting with their operative, another waste of time as he knew less that the chatbot. Do not buy Mcafee!!! I do not understand how or why people like these are allowed to sell such garbage.I am off to Bitdefender in the hope it works better, it can't be any worse.
