We have been using Mailchimp for some 5 years now. We chose them because they had the best free offering. We find it easy to create and schedule e-mails and have never had a campaign that has failed to reach the contacts. The particular features we like are the template library where you can store self designed templates... we have some 70+ simple templates and the Report section where we can see how many and which contacts have read the e-mails and also clicked on the links to other resources within the e-mails. If we had a large number of contacts we wished to send e-mails to we would most probably go with Mailchimp (although cost is always a consideration) as it is we have under 100 contacts and have under 10 campaigns per week.
