I have been a long time Macy's customer but, I will never place another order from Macys.com again. I had placed an order on June 2, 2020 for 2 items both in stock and to be shipped and arrive by the est. date of the 12th of June. I waited and waited finally I received one of the items I ordered , of course it would be the item that was for myself the other item was for a gift for a little boy I know. Macy's did charge my credit card the minute I placed the order and by June 16th I was getting upset as I still had not received the other item. I tried many many times to contact macy's customer service and they had none ! I would have thought a company as large as Macy's would have people working from home doing customer service but no, no customer service at all. I see from the latest review's that they must have just recently as of July 3 or so hired some customer service reps. because all the times I called there were none , absolutely nobody to speak to I would wait and it was all automated and tell me to find all my answers on the FAQ's online at macys.com after I waited for so long they would state , at this time during the covid crisis there are no agents to assist you and the phone would disconnect. I kept trying and finally contacted my credit card and had a dispute put on the charge , they took the money back from macy's until I either received my item or macy's let me know I was never going to get the item. I waited and waited never heard another word from macy's. Then on Sat. June 27 a package was delivered and it was the item, a little too late for when I needed it and also the wrong size. I am now stuck with it , I am not sending it back as I'm afraid I'll never get refunded because I don't trust them anymore and there is NO customer service. I don't plan on contacting them at all , I may just to tell them how very upset I am about how they have handled their business during the covid as they called crisis , All other online stores still had Customer service during this corona virus and there is no reason Macy's couldn't have had customer service, too cheap to pay employee's to work from home. I will never order from Macy's again and now see why they are losing all their customers and having to close all the stores. Bad business practices and they don't care about their customers that have shopped with them for years.
