The worst experience of my life in terms of everything - worst ever customer serviceFirstly, they stole my money and never returned it. I purchased an item online which I returned at the store, they told me I will receive the return in 3-4 days in my original method of payment card. I waited for a week my refund never came back. I called the customer service and they asked me to go the store where I returned. I went to the Macys’s store where I returned the item and it was permanently shut( Watertower place chicago Macys) I spent so much time to find the customer service and they told me to go the State Street Macys.Two weeks later I went to the State street Macys and the lady was not at all helpful and asked me to call the customer service on phone. I insisted that I will not go home because nobody is trying to help with my $120 credit and I already spent 60 bucks on all the Ubers in going to different stores. She made me wait for 20 minutes and ultimately made a call to someone in her store. They kept on transferring me to different departments and finally they found out that they issued me a gift card certificate which was sent to my old address as a refund. I told them why they did that when I asked for a refund in my credit card which I was told at the time of returning the item. They said we are closing the store right now and can’t solve the problem today. Maybe you should come back tomorrow and I refused because I already spent so much on my Ubers and can’t waste more money and time on the 120 bucks. They said you can call the customer service tomorrow and they should be able to help. I said okay and left.Next day I called the service and again they put me hold and kept on transferring me to different departments for 30 minutes. Finally when I got hold off someone she said Ma’am probably you didn’t return the item because I can’t see it. Can you imagine?The same store was able to see my return item one day before with my return receipt number and with my order number where they gave me the information that we issued a credit certificate to your house and kept my return receipt at the store and the next day someone else is saying we can’t see it in our system.I hate this store and the worst is the customer service. They don’t care about their customers at all.
