Poor packing. Online order arrived broken.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered a set of dishes as a gift. When they arrived, the box of dishes was in another box over twice its size, cushioned with only two sheets of packing paper, and no fragile labels anywhere in sight. The inner box on dishes was coming apart at its seams, likely from how beaten up it must have gotten in transit. Unsurprisingly, some of the dishes were broken when I opened the inner box. I’m actually shocked that more of them were not broken. I think a 5 year old probably could have packed this more securely. Customer service is supposedly mailing a replacement and sending me a return level. I have zero confidence the replacement set will arrive in any better condition, and am frustrated I now have to repack and mail this set for a return. Buyer beware of poor packaging and wasteful practices at Macy’s online.
