Tried to order furniture. Sales rep wasn’t in and I was told that we would get a call the next day and receive an additional 10% discount because the department wasn’t manned. Fair enough.Got a call the next day. After the sales person re-iterated the price and said are you sure implying whether I could afford it, he told me that there would be a $125 / piece deliver charge. I told him we would pick up the nightstands and he said it was not an option.So, not only did he say he could not honor the 10% additional discount I was told I would get, I would end up paying an additional $250 on a $650 order. Macy’s appears to have bonkers. I’ll never attempt to buy furniture there again.
