My insurance company uses lyft. To provide transportation yesterday I had. A scheduled ride for an appt. The driver I get the call. My ride was here. Upon getting outside I called the driver. Do to him not being in front. Of my building I called him. Which did no good. Because he didn't speak English. I couldn't understand him he couldn't understand me. So I had to call into the office. Only to find out. He cancelled the ride. Which had me more then upset. The rep was very professional. Rescheduled my ride immediately. So I didn't miss my appt. Your drivers need to speak English. If they cancel an appt. You need to contact the customer. Especially for an appt. That's been scheduled for over a week. Some doctors charge for missed appts. With that short of notice. I have some that do that. Up to 75.00 to cancel the day of. Who'd be responsible for that the client. This shouldn't ever happen. Because your employee can't speak English. You have to know that. When you hire them clearly. No client should have to deal with that ever. Some appts are scheduled a month out. When missed or more. This issue needs to be addressed stat. Hope you all handle this issue. So no one has to go through. What I went through worrying. About missing my appt. Because the driver cancelled. Do to a communication issue. I do appreciate the fact. The rep was professional. Got me another ride. So I didn't have to miss the appt.
