I would give a zero, but that is not an option. We took a Lyft from McDill AFB in Tampa to a concert. The driver had to have a background check to get on the installation, so my scheduled ride was 15 minutes late. After the concert, we ordered a Lyft. When the driver contacted me, I asked if he was a US CITIZEN to get on the military installation. He said yes. We get to the gate, and he is NOT a citizen, so he could not take us to our destination. I scheduled three more rides and had to cancel all of them because the drivers were not US CITIZENS. The 3rd driver was asked, and he said he was a citizen, but when we got to the gate, he wanted to know what the place was. He lied because he was not a US Citizen either. I scheduled rides and canceled rides because the Lyft drivers could not get me to my destination. I was charged a cancellation fee for all of the canceled rides for something that was not my fault. All Lyft drivers scheduled could not get me to my destination, so I had to pay for cancellations. I got an Uber driver with a military ID card to get to my destination 2 hours after I got in the first Lyft. Is there any compensation? I had a great night at the concert and stayed at Circle K for over an hour, trying to get a ride. Lyft turned my night in the opposite direction.
