Refusal to honor unused warranty refund

We bought a washer and dryer with a 5 year extended warranty from Lowe's and they refused to honor the 50% refund for unused appliance warranties. The w/d were delivered late Jan, 2020 after we moved into our new house in 1/20/20. the salesperson told us to call about the warranty refunds if we hadn't used them in mid Jan, 2025. I put it in my calendar and called on 1/10/25. My husband and I spoke with many people including a corporate dept manager over the course of an hour and a half, and they stated they would not honor the agreement since we bought the w/d 2 months before they were delivered. They said if we could get the original Lowe's store to show Lowe's corporate service proof of delivery they would reconsider. We called the store and they were super nice but they did not have delivery records going back five years. Not only did our 5 year warranty not last 5 years, we were also scammed out of our promised unused warranty money. The warranty should start when the item is in possession of the person who bought it. I'm not upset at the customer service reps about Lowe's money grubbing, dishonest policies but we are never shopping here again, I'm leaving bad reviews everywhere and telling everyone I know. This is bad review #5 so far.
