Very Poor Customer Service

I usually prefer Home Depot and this is another reason why. I ordered a bathroom vanity and it arrived broken. Things happen right? Ok, I understand. Called the store to schedule another delivery and pickup of the damaged one. Mind you , I already paid $125 for the installer to show up (it was $250 total labor but half for showing up). I realize accidents happen but this isn't the customer's fault, yet the customer is paying for it. I told the manager if they could deliver next day (my guys are there working and it wouldn't be an extra charge) that I would accept $125 off (25% discount). He told me it wouldn't be until Wed or Thursday which would have me paying another $250 in labor because my guy would have to make a special trip. He told me he couldn't do anything about that. So, because the item arrived damaged, the customer has to pay? I run a business too and if I ask a customer to pay for my mistake, they would leave me a negative review and I wouldn't have a customer anymore. Home Depot actually takes care of its customers. Every time I buy from Lowe's, I'm usually sorry that I did. Very Poor.
