Be careful what personal details are entered in Linkedin there can be negatives to this service. As for deleting Linkedin details & unsubscribing from correspondence - well I've found this almost impossible after seven years of retirement & inactivity in the job market.I still get a flurry of email messages from recruitment agencies, insurance sales staff & general hangers on from time to time. The thing is if someone made a note of your details ten years ago it's up to them to delete their own records & that doesn't necessarily happen
