DO NOT BUY FROM LGWe bought a Washing machine/Tumble dryer from LG last . We had no issues for 16 months but then the door wouldn’t open. We were within the 10 year warranty so we contacted LG support the next day. It took 10 days for the first engineer to come out and assess the issue, then another 2 weeks before the part arrived and was installed. Not the end of the story! 2 weeks later, the same issue occurred, the door is not opening. Called LG, they sent the same engineer a week later. He ordered a new door which took 2 weeks to arrive and didn’t resolve the problem. In over 2 months, we have been able to use our machine for 2 weeks. LG have been rude and unhelpful, mocking and being sarcastic to me and my wife when we ask for help. We have 2 young children and my wife is pregnant. It’s impossible to get by with visits to the laundrette between school and nursery and work, not to mention costing us a fortune in laundrette costs. They are refusing to push the matter along quicker or to replace the machine as we are having the same repeated fault which they are unable to resolve long term. STAY CLEAR!!
