Disgusting customer service

Problems came up with every aspect of dealing with this company. I attempted to buy an eraser x510 pc from their website as they were discounting the model by £500. Their website responded by trying to charge me three times for my order, and never sought authentication for payment or sent me any confirmation of the order I was placing (in contravention of consumer protection regulation and good business practice I might add). This caused my bank account to register the transactions as fraudulent meaning I had to get a fresh bank card, cancel the payments and sort out my account!

Given the problems with my original order, I decided to place another order for the same item with arrangement to pay by wire transfer, thinking that the issues so far were merely technical and perhaps lenovo could be forgiven for that. So I placed a fresh order by bank transfer and sent a request to their customer services that I wanted my original order cancelled. I paid for the order i had just made by bank transfer as directed. Straight-forward right? Well not so much it turns out as Lenovo's incompetent customer service proceeded to delete the order I had just made by transfer and insisted on payment for the original order I did want cancelled! Worse still when they received my payment they said they couldn't accept it as they considered it payment for a cancelled order!

Lonovo's customer service when I told them didn't as much as say sorry for their mistake. They were totally unsupportive and just sent email messages asking for payment. After 3 phone calls (2 of which I was hung up on by Lenovo) and numerous emails, asking them to simply accept the money I had sent them as payment for the order which they hadn't cancelled, they simply ignored my request and refunded the money I had paid them! It took them by the way around a month to do this.

The customer service is some of the worst I have ever experienced the staff were rude and aloof, totally disinterested in honouring the order I had placed, totally unwilling to accept any fault or take any action, and totally incapable of understanding basic instructions.

Long and the short of this - if you want lenovo products, don't buy them from lenovo. In fact just don't buy lenovo products, buy from a decent retailer that doesn't treat customers like something they scrapped off the bottom of their shoes, like for example chillblast or apple, two companies I have actually had good experiences dealing with.
