Lenovo Customer service???? - hmm not sure where is the customer service part. I contacted so called "Lenovo Customer Service" three weeks ago to get the quote for fixing my son's laptop (the hinge was broken and laptop was separating). The first person I talked to behaved like a robot, reading the prompts from the screen. There was no answers for my additional questions. He refused to answer how the process of fixing laptop works (except saying they will pick up my laptop and send it back). He refused to answer where my laptop will be taken and I was not able to choose deliver myself option even if I live in Auckland. After 10 days I have received email saying that "Upon further review and investigation, the repair service for your current fault(s) will not be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty service" although I asked for "the quote to fix the laptop". After my reply, it was another 10 days I finally got the quote, although I asked for the "team manager to call me" (and nobody called me). The quote itself was a joke - cost to fix was 65% of the new laptop with 4-6 weeks wait time for parts. It was my last lenovo laptop I will buy. The service is just appalling.
