Cannot cancel an order

I've not had a problem with Lego in the past but last month I put in a preorder which was due to be released 1st of June. Lego distributors got these sets the weekend before the release which meant some people already had the sets, and Lego still haven't released the sets themselves yet. If I preorder something, I expect to get it when it comes out, not a week later or I could have ordered it from somewhere else. Then when I get on the phone to cancel the order, I'm told I can't as its now 'in the warehouse'. Its been in the warehouse since Saturday. Impossible to get a refund or cancel an order when it goes to warehouse so fast but then never dispatches. Will not be ordering via Lego again!
