Overall a Nice e-Reader with Some Drawbacks

This is just a review of the Kobo Clara Color itself. I didn't have any issues with my purchase though shipping was a tad slow, so I won't dedicate much time to that. I've only had it for a few weeks, but I'm enjoying it a lot. The Kobo store has everything I'm interested in so far, and the Overdrive connectivity is a fantastic feature that I've already used A LOT. It was also really easy to add books from my old Kindle when connecting the Kobo to my computer. It does have a lot of nice features. I really appreciate being able to adjust the back light to a softer white color, which had always bothered me about my old Kindle, and it has a lot of interesting reading statistic tools for when you're reading a Kobo Epub file though I've not experimented much with that yet. Really my only complaint so far is that the quality and the clarity of the screen itself are not as good as my Kindle, which is over 10 years old at this point, and I found that to be a bit disappointing. It's less noticeable if you're not holding them right next to one another, but I still definitely notice it when I'm reading. I understand that Kobo doesn't have the resources that Amazon does though, and I'm willing to live with the screen not being as clear and crisp to be away from Amazon. Going along with that, I'd heard not to expect much from the color, but yeah, it's really not great. I won't lie that it's kind of fun, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're planning to read graphic novels, picture books, or something with a lot of color. This is my first Kobo, so I can't comment on how some of the higher end models might display color, but I'd definitely stick to a tablet, personally
