Klarna Refunded a Customer on a Technicality – £745 Lost Despite Valid POD

Klarna refunded a customer £745 from order rycYXGFvgW9HS3mhHjE0sUyTW (Dispute ID: 380047768440884) even though we provided a valid proof of delivery showing the full UK address, recipient signature, delivery date, and time.The only reason given? The delivery slip didn’t explicitly say “UK” – despite the clear presence of a UK postcode (NN2 8QZ) and the delivery being to Northamptonshire. The recipient (Antony Seaman) signed for it, and we followed Klarna’s shipping policy exactly.As a merchant, I find this completely unacceptable. Klarna’s decision-making lacks basic logic and offers no real protection for businesses. We trusted Klarna to act fairly – this experience has seriously damaged that trust.Merchants, be very careful. Klarna’s dispute resolution process is not fit for purpose.
