IMDB is just about the best resource you could ever find for TV shows, movies, & actors/actresses. Recently I was looking for the best movies of 2014 because I wanted to see what films I had to check out prior to the award shows. There were multiple lists by users ranking their favorites of the year, so I used those to drill down to the specific movies and watched the trailers and looked at the IMDB ratings. Another feature I really love are the message boards, I enjoy getting on them after watching some of my favorite TV shows and seeing people's reactions to some of the craziest episodes of the season.
