I am giving one star because given zero is not possible. Bought 2 wardrobes from Ikea with their click and collect option. Picked up in the evening of 31 January 2025 between 20:30 and 21:00. As it was in the evening I did not cross check the product numbers with those i had on my receipt. On February 1,2025 as i wanted to build the wardrobes I realised more than 21 packages of the what I received were wrong. Called customer service to inform them about this. After hearing my complaints and assuring me that he is going to order the missing parts, he blamed me for not checking my packages before leaving. After wasting 30 minutes with the service personal on phone, he told me I need to go to Ikea ludwigsburg to lodge the complaints. On my way there, I received a call from Ikea Ludwigsburg stating that they made a mistake with my package and asked me to bring it back for the correct one and that they are going to refund my transport costs. When I got there, the refund was 20 Euros to my surprise. That was the refund for transporting wrong articles from Ikea to Heilbronn and back in addition to carrying the products up to the 2nd floor and hired transport costs. Not to add to the whole bad service , they asked me to bring the wrong package back myself. This is really a ridiculous service for a big company like Ikea. Very disappointed. Better services are offered at Hofmeister and the likes.
