IKEA does not have a dedicated team of installers. They use task rabbit which is the absolutely worst company. One of their installers drilled holes to anchor the bookcases drilling into the adjacent room, breaking the plaster and now the nails are sticking out of the wall. The installation of the bookcases was not done correctly with a one inch gap between the bookcase shelf and the cupboard door. IKEA then refers you back to Task rabbit to fix these errors where I was on hold for 15 minutes before someone answered whose English was unintelligible. To send someone to paint, plaster and repair the wall they would “credit” me for 2 hours but I would pay the difference. For this installation I paid 355$ and the repair of the wall will probably be over $500. Never ever buy from Ikea or deal with Task rabbit!!!
