We bought a Hemnes chest of drawers in February but only put it together at the start of the month due to renovating our bedroom. When I put it together the top of the unit had several imperfections in it where there were knots in it. Also there was the start of a pilot hole mark in the middle of one of the drawers. We tried calling to make a complaint but there was no answer and a big queue. So we wrote to them 3 weeks ago and have still not had a response. We have bought many items over the years without an issue. But if this is how customers are treated when there is an issue, we will think twice about purchasing from Ikea in future.
